My Biography

I came to San Francisco because I already had family living out here. Kaiser Permanente drew me because at Kaiser Permanente, I may concentrate on unbiased patient care and pure medicine, without focusing on the financial or insurance aspects of medicine. I prefer this model of care delivery to private practice. Kaiser Permanente San Francisco is a very advanced facility. I find the technology and care delivery to be extremely up-to-date here. I am able to consult with any specialist about advice. Morale is high in this department. Colleagues are dedicated to patient care.

Kaiser Permanente supports clinicians in keeping current in their specialties. For example, I am granted one week off per year to participate in various learning opportunities, such as training sessions, attending workshops, conferences, and classes. I have particular interests in acute renal failure, glomerular diseases, and electrolyte imbalances.

During my spare time, travel, read medical literature, and spend time with my family. I keep healthy and active by I attend farmers’ markets, follow a regular vegetarian diet, and take the stairs at work instead of the elevator. I also work out at a gym, where I see many of my patients!
