My Biography

After graduating with a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1969, I moved back to the West Coast to attend medical school. In 1973 I graduated from UCSF with a medical degree and stayed to complete a medicine internship and a dermatology residency. I began working at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco in 1977. I practice general medical and surgical dermatology. I am interested in infectious disease and high-altitude medicine.
