Practice Philosophy

I am a firm believer in evidence-based care and I look forward to partnering with you to achieve better health. I believe in empowering my patients to take care of their health with my help.

About Me

I was born and raised in Nagpur in Central India. I received my Medical Degree at Nagpur University in India in 1998. I then moved to Los Angeles for my internship at the University of Southern California. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2001, where I completed my residency program at San Francisco in 2003. Prior to my residency, I worked as a research assistant in cancer research at Stanford University. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

My Interests

My medical interests are in hypertension and cholesterol. I am the Chief of Health Education and serve as the Cholesterol and Asthma Champion for the Mountain View facility. Apart from English, I speak Hindi and Marathi fluently. I am in the clinic Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:45 to 5:00 P.M. I am not in the clinic on Thursdays.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I love the outdoors, hiking, traveling, exercising, and cooking.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
