My Biography

I received a bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco and my medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco, then completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology Studies at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco. I have completed specialty training in Pediatrics, Allergy, and Immunology. I am the ex-President of the California Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF, and belong to many other professional organizations. When not caring for my patients, I enjoy running, hiking, camping, fly-fishing, pollen identification, and opera.
