My Biography

Kaiser Permanente provides a wonderful health care model for patients. We offer a high level of accessibility and a large pool of doctors from which to choose. Our size allows patients to obtain the expertise that they need, as well as access numerous health education resources.

I came to Kaiser Permanente because there was an urgent need for another interventional radiologist. Currently, I serve as Chief of Interventional Radiology. In our department, clinicians enjoy a spirit of teamwork. Interventionalists, nurses, and technologists are all committed to delivering excellent patient care. Various specialists work together across disciplines; out department is focused on integration, not on divisive, compartmentalized boundaries. Within this comprehensive approach, patients are unlikely to slip through the cracks. Areas of special interest to me include uterine artery embolization and recanalization of fallopian tubes.

My hobbies include cooking classes, visiting galleries and museums, reading, and dabbling in paints. I follow healthy eating habits, and I like to walk, hike, practice yoga, and do Pilates.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
