Welcome to my practice…

Welcome and thank you for visiting me today. I have practiced Cardiac Electrophysiology at Kaiser Permanente since the completion of my training in 1988. From just a developing field within general Cardiology, today, Cardiac Electrophysiology itself has become a dynamic and vibrant board certified subspecialty that seeks to improve and prolong the lives of people suffering from recurrent heart rhythm problems. It has been rewarding to see this field mature and to be an active part of it as a practitioner, a teacher, and at times a “trail blazer”. However, I am most proud of our achievements made as a group within a large integrated health care delivery system such as Kaiser Permanente. Today, I direct Kaiser Regional Cardiac Electrophysiology Service, housed at the new Santa Clara Medical Center, and serve the entire Northern California Kaiser region. The service is comprised of a dedicated team of highly trained board certified cardiac electrophysiologists backed by a core of dedicated support staff comprised of nurses, technicians, and office personnel. As one of the largest electrophysiology groups with a long established presence in the Bay Area, we have developed an excellent reputation within the community. We are constantly working both in the forefront to develop technical expertise in new state of the art procedures and also behind the scene to establish protocols and guidelines to improve the safety and efficacy of all our procedures. Furthermore, within the integrated system at Kaiser, we find ways to work better to continually improve your overall health care experience. I am honored to be a part of this service and look forward to the opportunity to work with you to provide the best care possible.
