Welcome to my practice…

Welcome and thank you for visiting me today. As a member of a five-physician team I treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms (so-called “cardiac arrhythmias”). As part of my practice I perform electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and implant devices for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, including cardioverter-defibrillators and pacemakers. It is a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to the opportunity to address your heart rhythm problem.

My Background:

I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1993 and I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Stanford University School of Medicine. In that role I teach aspiring Electrophysiologists the techniques and clinical skills necessary to become a certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist.

My Philosophy:

I view my patients as active decision-making people in their own health care. I view myself as a consultant specializing in the area of health and well being.
