My Qualifications

I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1998. I am the physician coordinator for Kaiser North Valley’s Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program. I am a member of Northern California Ob/Gyn Society and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

My Healthcare Practice

I believe it is an honor and a privilege to care for women through the various stages of their lives. It is important to me that my patients feel they can play an active role in their own care. One of my roles is to educate so my patients feel more confident making decisions about their own health. I enjoy caring for women in preventative health and for their reproductive or surgical needs.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
