My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed my residency with the University of California Davis Medical Center. I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1997 and currently serve as the Assistant Chief of Women’s Health in Roseville. I am a member of the Volunteer Clinical Faculty of University of California Davis Medical Center. I am a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

My Healthcare Practice

My approach to treating patients is to educate them on the available options of treatment and have the patient guide me in their healthcare decisions. In addition to my clinical practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology, I work in the Breast Clinic twice a month and have an interest in gynecologic oncology. I went into ob/gyn to have the opportunity to see many different facets of women’s medicine, from childbirth to routine care to surgery.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente has the ideal healthcare system for me to practice in -- a team approach in which the doctor directs the care of a patient and receives excellent support from the rest of the team.

My Outside Interests

I love the outdoors. I enjoy skiing, golfing and hiking. I am a fanatical Kings fan!

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
