My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and completed my residency with the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1999.

I am the Director of Kaiser's Teen OB/GYN clinic in Roseville. I present annually at the National Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology conference, as well as at various local and regional conferences through Kaiser and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Over the past several years, I have published numerous journal articles and book chapters on timely topics pertinent to adolescent gynecology.

My Healthcare Practice

I enjoy the variety in my practice with patients ranging from age 2 to 102. I strive to make a positive impact on my patients’ lives by helping to ensure their good health and well-being.

Kaiser is a great organization with a wealth of resources for my patients. It has allowed me the freedom to care for my patients without undue monetary constraints, and has given me the privilege to work closely with many amazing colleagues.

My favorite extracurricular activities:

I spend most of my free time with my family (my wonderful husband, three incredible kids, and a goofy yellow lab named Max). We enjoy many outdoor activities together, including hiking at Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, and swimming and playing along the California coast. At home, we often swim, play sports (football is a favorite, along with basketball and dodgeball), barbeque, and watch family movies together.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
