Thank you for visiting my home page. I want to take this time to tell you a little about myself, and I hope you find this information useful.

I am a native Californian. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I come from a large and close family. I am the 2nd oldest of five girls, and I also have a step brother, step sister, 3 nieces and 3 nephews. On April 8, 2005 I was blessed with the birth of my twins, Landon and Sydney. I enjoy spending a lot of my free time with my family, but I also enjoy scrap booking and am an avid Sacramento Kings fan.

I attended St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry in 1987. Following graduation I relocated to the Midwest for medical school and was lucky enough to return to California to complete my training.

I joined Kaiser Permanente, South Sacramento, after spending 3 years in private practice. I chose Kaiser for several reasons. The large practice improved my quality of life, and I believe strongly in the concept of integrated healthcare. I grew up as a member of Kaiser Permanente, and I am proud to be part of an organization that provides such high quality healthcare for our members.

I have a large and thriving general OB/Gyn practice here at South Sacramento and, although I may run a bit behind from time to time, I assure you that when it is your turn to be seen you will have my full and undivided attention. I will do my best to address all of your concerns. In addition to general OB/Gyn, I also spend Tuesday afternoons in our Teen Clinic.

My Credentials

Medical school Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI
Internship UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Residency UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Board certification Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
