Welcome!

Welcome to my website. I have designed this site for you with several goals in mind.

First, I want you to be able to learn a bit more about me than what you can normally glean from a doctor’s visit. To this end, I provided information about my background as a foot and ankle surgeon (About the Doctor), as well as a section about my personal background (About the Person).

Second, I want to provide you with a site packed with resources for a multitude of foot and ankle problems – a place where you can come and read more about a problem that you might have. I highly recommend using Dr. Palladino's Recommended Resources. This section has links to every patient education document that I have developed and keep in my clinic rooms. This section also has links to additional excellent patient information resources for foot and ankle problems provided by both Kaiser as well as non-Kaiser specialists. Furthermore, there are some excellent general health resources to be explored by clicking on the Healthy Living or Healthwise Handbook links in the navigation bar to the left. The Healthy Living link brings you to a number of great health resources. One of these resources is the Healthy Lifestyles Program, with online modules that can custom-tailor a guide to help you in health improvement in areas such a weight loss or smoking cessation. If you are considering foot or ankle surgery or are scheduled for foot or ankle surgery, the Foot and Ankle Surgery Resources section is a must read.

Lastly, I want to provide you with some information that will allow you to streamline your experience at the Kaiser Santa Rosa Medical Center. Therefore, I have included the section, Contacting Me, in which you can learn how to best contact me by email, phone or fax. Also in this section, as well as through the link for prescription refills in the navigation bar to the left, you can learn about obtaining medicine refills online or by the phone. You may also find this map to my office helpful.

Please explore my website thoroughly. I hope that you find this website a valuable enhancement of your experience under my care. Please contact me, should you have a suggestion on additional information that you think would be useful to add to this site, or should you find a broken link.

Thank you and take care,

Steven J Palladino, DPM

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
