My Practice Philosophy
My goal is to provide you the most comprehensive and personal care in Ob/Gyn.
About Me
Even though I grew up in rural Louisiana and completed my medical training in New Orleans, most of my immediate family now reside in the Bay Area, including my parents, my eldest brother with his family, and my youngest sister and her husband. My older brothers live in Orlando and Long Beach with their families, and my older sister and her family live in Houston.
I started my Ob/Gyn practice with The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. in July 2001, at the Mountain View Medical Office, where I served as the role of Chief of Physician Education. In February 2003, I moved to the Santa Clara Medical Offices and eventually to the Homestead Medical Offices in June 2005. Currently, I am the Clerkship Director for the Department of Ob/Gyn at our Santa Clara Medical Center, one of the teaching hospitals for the Stanford Medical School.
On a typical work day, you can find me in the operating room, or on Labor & Delivery, but mostly, I am usually at the Women’s Clinic, Department 390. My practice begins with the Call Center, then my receptionist, and the rest of my staff at the Women’s Clinic. My medical assistant, Mrs. Iona Coleman, has worked with me since February 2003, though she has been with Kaiser Permanente for over twenty years.
My Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my families.
I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, you may leave me a message at the above telephone number. Either, I, or my medical assistant, will return your call.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
