About Me

My philosophy is to provide excellent, complete medical care. This care begins with listening to the patient and family, then involving them in the patient's care.

I grew up in Berkeley, California and have had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente since 1998. I am a member of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, and American Academy of Pediatrics.

In addition to providing office-based care at the Pleasanton Medical Offices, I spend several weeks every year working as a Walnut Creek hospital in patient pediatrician. I believe that this provides me with the skills to respond quickly to any emergencies that might arise.

Another of my roles is as the Diabetic Champion for the Pleasanton Medical Office. Once a month, I join the team at the Walnut Creek Pediatric Diabetic Clinic. This allows me to keep up to date on all the new diabetic treatments.

My personal interests include hiking, swimming, and dancing. I take every opportunity to enjoy the wonderful California weather.

My Credentials

Medical school Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, New York, NY
Residency University Hospitals of Cleveland, Cleveland, OH
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
