This page is intended as a way to introduce myself to you and to help my patients understand my style of practice.

About Me

I grew up in Setauket, New York, a suburban area about two hours east of New York City. After completing all of my medical training I practiced in a large private practice group in Rhode Island. After 3 years I moved on to Harvard Community Health Plan in Massachusetts where I worked until I relocated to Northern California in 1997. Since then I have had the privilege of practicing at Kaiser Permanente. I have been overwhelmed with the level of dedication provided by clinicians in the Kaiser Permanente system. I am particularly impressed with the level of care provided, and by the willingness of clinicians to collaborate in order to achieve the best possible outcome for patients.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I enjoy an active lifestyle with regular exercise. I particularly like walking and playing tennis. I have interests in gardening and cooking.

How I Practice:

To help you and your family to the best of my ability I need information about how you are doing, especially if problems arise. The best way to reach my attention is through the mental health advice nurses. I suggest that you call if problems arise, to avoid delays in treatment. Please call 295-4145 when problems come up and request to speak with an advice nurse.

My Clinical Interests:

I am particularly interested in pediatric psychopharmacology. What I enjoy most about psychiatry is interacting with my patients and helping them through difficulties.
