Our Department

Our department consists of 14 physicians, 3 pediatric nurse practitioners, and 40 support staff members. We care for children from birth to 18 years of age. We offer a wide range of services not only for acute problems and well-child evaluations but also for a variety of more specialized care services.

Our areas of expertise include special care for teens, help with breast feeding, instruction for asthma care and in-department mental health services to name a few. We have providers with special interest in neonatology, infectious disease, learning problems, adolescent medicine and asthma. Many of our staff are bilingual with primary emphasis on providing care for our Spanish- speaking patients. We have regularly scheduled pediatric specialty care offered in Genetics and Endocrinology.

Medical care is provided by an experienced staff composed of Pediatricians, a Service Unit Manager, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, Tele-service Representatives, and Patient Service Representatives.

Patients are strongly encouraged to have a Personal Care Provider. During your next visit to our department, please ask the receptionist for the ''Choosing a Pediatrician'' brochure to assist you in selecting a Pediatrician for your child.

The Pediatric Department is located on the second floor of the Richard Stein Medical Offices at 3925 Old Redwood Highway. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

To schedule an appointment please call us at (707) 393-4033.

Pediatric Advice Lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
