My Healthcare Practice

My professional interest is in preventive care. My advice to you:

Making Better Choices Helps Make a Better You

I believe in prevention, prevention and prevention! You can still see the crack even if you piece a broken vase back together. Let us all be in charge of our own health! Exercise, eat right, be in shape and I guarantee that you will feel better.

My Credentials

Medical school Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, PA
Internship California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, CA
Residency California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since May 2001.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

At Kaiser Permanente, I have the freedom to practice the right medicine.

On a Personal Note...

I moved to California for residency in San Francisco after I graduated from medical school. Since then, I have discovered this is the best state in which to live. I enjoy all the outdoor activities that this sunshine state has to offer. I love hiking, skiing, biking, swimming and whitewater rafting. I exercise five times a week, usually cross train between, running, biking, weight lifting, and yoga. I also enjoy traveling, theaters, movies, fine food and wine. I am originally from Taiwan and so am fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
