My Specialty and Why I Chose It
I am an emergency room physician. This means I care for people with life threatening emergencies. I decided to do this because I enjoy having the opportunity to help people when they are in a time of need.
My Practice Philosophy
I believe in compassionate care and I am centered on the belief that I treat people the way I would want myself and my family member treated in their time of need.
My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2009. I like the unified system that allows for excellent patient care and ensures that members get the most appropriate and timely care.
On a Personal Note. . .
I completed my emergency medicine training at the University of Cincinnati and subsequently served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Diego prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente. I have also completed subspecialty training in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine which deals with diving injuries and the care of chronic wounds that result from diabetes and from radiation therapy for certain cancers.
