My Specialty and Why I Chose It
I am a pediatric neurologist. Pediatric neurologists take care of children with conditions that involve the brain, spinal cord, nerve, and muscle. My childhood best friend has cerebral palsy. His influences led me to where I am today. I love my job.
My Practice Philosophy
My goal is to treat every child as I would want my own children to be treated--with compassion, thoughtfulness, clear explanation, and careful testing that is evidence based.
My Tenure With Kaiser Permanente
I've been a part of Kaiser Permanente since 2007. I was attracted to Kaiser Permanente by my partner Dr. Richard Friederich, an excellent pediatric neurologist whom I have known since 1996. We share an evidence based approach and a similar set of values, beliefs, and practice styles. Kaiser Permanente promotes our team approach to optimize your child's care.
