My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a physical therapist in occupational medicine. I enjoy assisting people return to their full function after an injury.

My Practice Philosophy

I feel people should be able to enjoy their lives by staying active and taking care of their bodies. In doing so, they need to be able to manage their physical wellness through exercise and proper diet.

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I have worked for Kaiser Permanente since 1980 in the physical therapy department. Most of my time has been spent in outpatient orthopedics and most recently in occupational medicine.

Kaiser Permanente allows me to utilize all of my skills and gives me the opportunity to do so with close contact to the physicians who refer the injured patients.

Professional Interests & Affiliations

I am a member of the Occupational Medicine Physical Therapy Peer Group and help with coordinating the education program classes.

On a Personal Note

I am a graduate of the University of Kansas, but am a native of the Bay Area. I have two children and love to exercise. I have also played golf since I was nine.
