My Biography

I came to work at San Francisco Medical Center because, during residency, I enjoyed my rotations and the physicians with whom I worked at Opera Plaza’s Occupational Medicine Department. We have an excellent system in place for our patients. If there is a delay with workers’ compensation, members can still receive care through their Kaiser Permanente health plan.

I enjoy the diversity of my practice and of the patient population. I keep current with developments in my field through attending professional conferences such as the Western Occupational Health and American Occupational Health conferences. Areas of particular interest to me include issues concerning healthy workplaces and psychosocial work factors.

During my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants, running along the Embarcadero, and spending time with my husband. I “Thrive” through regular exercise, reducing my red meat consumption, choosing the stairs over the elevator, and remembering to smile!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
