My Biography

The ability to hear is a fascinating process that amazes me every day. The fact that a sound wave enters the ear canal and through a series of mechanical and neural response is perceived in the brain is truly incredible.

Without hearing, speech and language would not develop and learning would be limited. Hearing is also critical to our social being.

As an audiologist, I am excited to share my knowledge of hearing and how it relates to our everyday lives. My goal is to make my patients feel comfortable and to educate them on their hearing levels and other ear related issues.

I have been practicing audiology for over 20 years and I am still enthusiastic about the field. My primary interest is hearing devices. I take great strides to insure that my patients are hearing at their best. I also enjoy the professional relationships that evolve through the hearing aid fitting process.

Kaiser Permanente affords me the opportunity to provide high quality hearing services and advanced hearing aid technology in a state of the art facility.

I take pleasure in working in the community in which I live. My biggest thrill is raising my two sons and spending leisure time in Calaveras County.
