Hello! My name is Mary Rhee and I would love to be your child's pediatrician. I hope to partner with you in providing your child with the best care possible. I enjoy interacting with children of all ages and all different backgrounds and I will do my very best in responding to you and your child's specific needs. I believe in the importance of practicing preventative medicine and some of my special interests in pediatrics include weight management, asthma, and eczema.

I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago. I attended college at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where I received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. After college, I moved to New York where I received a medical degree at New York Medical College. I completed my pediatrics training at Children's Hospital of Oakland. Since residency,I worked at different private practices in the East Bay. I am board certified in Pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics.

Besides my interests in pediatric medicine, I also enjoy traveling and I have an interest in international medicine. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, and going to museums. I know some Korean.

My Credentials

Medical school New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY
Residency Children's Hospital, Oakland, CA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
