Pediatric Asthma Class

The purpose of this class is to assist children and their families in controlling asthma symptoms. Please bring all asthma medications, spacers and care plans with you to the class. Topics include signs and symptoms, triggers, medications, inhaler use, and peak flow meter use as well as forming self-management plans . This class is for parents and caregivers of children with asthma. Children who are 4 years and older are encouraged to come with parents.

3rd Monday of Month 6:00pm Ages 4 - 10
4th Monday of Month 6:00pm Ages 11 - 17

In addition, two Friday morning classes per month have been added for ages 0-4.

Each session is 2 hours.

The class is offered FREE to all Kaiser Members.

No referral is required.

Please note the age specific groups listed in the table above.
