Welcome to your journey through in pregnancy and post partum. As a very dedicated member of the Early Start Team, it is my pleasure to work with you as an integral part of your Prenatal process. It is both an honor and a joy to share this most magnificent time with you and your family, as well as be available to answer questions you may have along the way. I look forward to meeting you and working with you through your journey.

What it means to be licensed:

To become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a person must graduate with their Master’s Degree from an accredited university. He or she must take additional training in areas such as: alcoholism and other chemical substance dependency, human sexuality, partner abuse detection, intervention and child abuse. After completing graduate school, a licensee must also complete 3000 - 3200 hours of supervised experience and pass written exams before becoming licensed. The licensee must take continuing education courses every two years.
