My Biography

Kaiser Permanente is committed to the highest level of medical and surgical patient care. We foster teamwork across various specialties, providing patients with comprehensive care. Working with our talented physicians allows me to address my patients’ emotional and physical needs. I also appreciate opportunities to work with residents and teach. I have the ability to provide properly-targeted care without having to negotiate with insurance companies. It is important to me that I am able to pursue the most optimal, suitable treatments for my patients.

It is a privilege and gift to be able to care for Kaiser’s patients. Within our comprehensive care model, patients are able to seek out various specialists, under one system. They may complete their lab work and refill their prescriptions here as well. Kaiser offers cutting-edge medical and surgical care under a single umbrella.

I have a number of special interest areas, including general otolaryngology as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. I also enjoy volunteering my time with international medical missions focusing on the treatment of children with cleft lips and palates.

Outside of work, my hobbies are photography, medical illustration, painting, reading, and traveling. I enjoy running, swimming,, hiking, spending time with my friends, and exploring the many restaurants of San Francisco!

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
