My Specialty and Why I Chose It

Welcome to my home page and welcome to the Physical Therapy Department. My hope is that the information from this page and related links act to supplement the care that I provide you. I believe that the more you are informed and involved, the more successful you will be in your efforts to improve your function and/or decrease your pain. I look forward to serving you and providing you care that will help improve your health and well-being.

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I began my career here at Kaiser Roseville in 1998 as a student physical therapist finishing my last clinical rotation. I was offered a position at Kaiser Freemont a month later and loved every minute of it. In March of 2001 I was given the opportunity to transfer back to Roseville as a Senior Physical Therapist. I enjoy working with people from diverse cultures and various age groups. In addition to providing care to my patients, I have also helped teach classes, provided consultation to my colleagues and served as a clinical instructor to student physical therapists. I enjoy what I do and have the privilege of doing it with a staff that I admire.

My Credentials

Bachelor of Science, Physical Therapy Sacramento State University 1998

On a Personal Note

I was born in Palo Alto and grew up in San Jose. I began college with being a firefighter in mind. Soon after completing my Fire Technology degree I realized Physical Therapy was my true calling. I completed my Degree in Physical Therapy at Sacramento State in 1998 and soon married. I now have two wonderful sons and a beautiful Australian Blue Healer named Alice. When I find the time, I also enjoy traveling with my family, working out, and woodworking.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
