ABOUT ME

Welcome to the Santa Clara Hearing Aid Center. I hope your visit is a pleasant one.

I was born in Vermont and raised in the Door Peninsula of Wisconsin. I graduated from Lawrence University in 1994 with a BA in Anthropology. I then went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis.

I hold a California license in both Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing and am a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

I joined Kaiser Hayward in 2000 and then transferred to the Santa Clara Hearing Aid Center in 2004.

My Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children as well as hiking and exploring the Bay Area.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
