Welcome to My Internet Home Page
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the Radiology Department at Kaiser Permanente Modesto. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.
About Me
I was raised in Akron, Ohio, and studied chemistry in college. I received my medical degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2000. My 5-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology was done at the Level I Trauma Center in Cleveland, MetroHealth Medical Center, with many fond memories. I stayed for a year as an associate professor at MetroHealth through Case Western Reserve University. My medical interests are general radiology, with special interest in breast imaging and procedures, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, including PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography and Computerized Tomography).
Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley is a great working organization —great enough to finally get me out of Ohio! I agree with the philosophy of preventive care. Central Valley is an ideal place to live with its beauty, close proximity to natural parks and other outdoor activities that are different from my home town.
Outside of work, I like to travel, enjoy the outdoors and play with Lola, my little grey tabby cat. I also like to go to sporting events, including baseball and basketball games. (Go Tribe/Cavs/Browns! I guess you can take the girl out of Cleveland…)
My Philosophy of Care
Being a radiologist is very gratifying! Though you may not meet me when you come for your test, please know that I am committed to providing the best patient care possible. Radiology allows me to experience all aspects of medicine, and challenges me to know a lot of anatomy and pathology from head to toe! It is part of my job to help answer questions that your doctor has after your physical exam, as well as to tailor your radiology test to answer your doctor’s specific question. When we are able to do that in a timely and efficient manner, with as little radiation exposure to the patient as possible, I believe that is a job well done!
Our entire Radiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you need to schedule an appointment in the Department of Radiology or you have questions about your care in our department, please call (209) 735-6250. For results of your screenings, please contact your primary care provider. Thank you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
