Hello and welcome to my home page! Please use the links on the left to obtain more information on hearing loss and hearing aids. Please also feel free to contact me via e-mail for further questions.

Hearing loss is a problem that affects millions of Americans, of all ages. While hearing aids cannot completely restore hearing back to normal, there have been many advancements in technology that have greatly improved patients' success with them. My goal is to make hearing aid use as comfortable as possible for my patients so that their quality of life improves.

I became interested in audiology while in college. I was initially a Speech Pathology major, but I enjoyed my hearing courses so much that I switched my focus to audiology. I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a Master of Science degree in Audiology in 2000. For my internship year I was able to work with Kaiser Permanente in the Napa/Solano area. This gave me the wonderful opportunity to further enhance my skills in audiology and learn more about hearing aid dispensing. I began working here in South Sacramento in 2004, when they opened the Hearing Center. I enjoy working for Kaiser Permanente because of the vast amount of resources available, especially the ability to work with the ENT department and Cochlear Implant program.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my son, family and friends.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
