Welcome to my Homepage!
An Arkansas native, I came to San Francisco for residency when my husband chose a graduate program here. By the time I was completing my chief resident year, I realized my family and I had fallen in love with the Bay Area. I enjoy the variety and pace of hospitalist medicine, and am very excited to be joining the Kaiser San Rafael hospitalist group.
My experience with Kaiser has caused me to appreciate our emphasis on preventative medicine, our top-notch electronic medical record system, and the ancillary services that help our patients receive the highest quality care. Prior to medical school I received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR.
I have a personal interest in international medicine, having spent time working in Kijabe, Kenya and Nalerigu, Ghana. I love being outdoors, eating my husband's excellent cooking and spending time with my toddler.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
