Welcome to my Home Page!

As a team of Hospitalists, we run a 24/7 service and we see patients who show up in the Emergency Room requiring admission. Sometimes when necessary, we also admit directly from the clinic when your primary care doctor requests our help to admit and treat you in the Hospital.

About Me

I was born in Vietnam and immigrated to Northern California at the age of twelve with my family. I was fortunate to have been able to remain in Northern California for my undergraduate, medical school, and residency training; being close to family and friends is important to me. Upon completing my residency, I moved to Boston, MA, where I practiced as a hospitalist for two years. I then returned to California to be closer to family and friends after my husband finished his medical training in Boston.

It was only natural that I have chosen to return to Kaiser Permanente for its leadership in health care. I am very familiar with Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to patient care as I did my internal medicine and chief residency training at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. I truly believe that the efficiency of this organization allows me to stay focused on being a physician and providing high quality care to our patients instead of being distracted with vast amounts of paperwork. I look forward to providing medical care to the people of Central Valley. My goal is to improve the quality of life of my patients through the preservation of health.

Hobbies and Interests

At home, I love spending time with my husband and daughter.

Recent Adventures

Besides work, I also enjoy participating in medical missions and am grateful to have been part of two medical missions to Vietnam. It was through these medical trips that I gained an invaluable perspective of third world medicine. As for my long-term plan, I hope to continue the medical mission endeavors and providing health care to the less fortunate.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
