To My Patients:
Welcome to my Internet Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to know more about me and to learn more about the Surgery Department at Kaiser Permanente Stockton and Manteca. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department.
About Me
I was born and raised in Montana. When I was in high school, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Science has always fascinated me. I went to college in Montana and I discovered that I enjoyed taking care of people.
I received my medical degree from University of Washington, School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. There I discovered my love for surgery. I completed my surgical residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, CT. One of my friends from my residency program started working with Kaiser Permanente and gave me great reviews of the organization. After my interview in the Central Valley, I shared the same vision that Kaiser Permanente Central Valley is promoting and therefore, I decided to join the Kaiser Permanente Manteca group in September 2005.
My medical interests include colorectal surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
My personal interests include hiking, biking, playing volleyball and basketball. I love to travel, both in the U.S. and abroad. I am married and my husband is a surgical technician. My family is still living in Montana and they are happy we are now living closer on the beautiful west coast.
Philosophy of Care
I have a passion to take care of people. I think this originates from my closeness to my friends and my family. I have a belief of taking care of the patient as a whole, not just their surgical problem. I strive to have good communication with my patients and their families. I will always look out for the best interests of my patients and respect their decisions.
We are here to provide you with the best possible quality, service and personalization of care. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions. Thank you for taking the time to know more about me and I look forward to meet you at your next appointment.
