Dr. Kelly R. Richardson obtained her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. She then moved to the Northeast where she completed she residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She completed her fellowship in Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. In addition to an Electrophysiology fellowship, she participated in the Stanford Innovation Biodesign Program as a subspecialty fellow. The goal of the fellowship is to recognize needs within the area of Electrophysiology and develop technological solutions. She recently joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2005 and will also be a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Richardson is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Her professional interests involve the detection and treatments of Cardiac Arrhythmias as well as the development of new technologies that can aid in the treatment of patients with cardiac disease. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, swimming, snowboarding and spending time with her husband.
