About Me

I am a native Californian and I grew up in Sacramento. I attended college at the University of California, Davis, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biological Sciences. In 1987, I received my medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine.

After medical school, I completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Hospital in Santa Clara. I am a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and the Santa Clara County Medical Association. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

My Interests

My interests in medicine are primary care and preventive medicine. At Kaiser Milpitas, I have been a full-time staff physician since 1990. I serve on the Peer Review Committee, and I am currently the unit leader for Medical Unit A.

My wife and I have settled in the area and love the diversity and richness of our locale. We have two children.
