Welcome to my home page. There are many resources on this website that can help you access information about your hearing loss and hearing aids. One helpful website to browse is the Telephone Access Program It provides helpful information about telephone amplifiers that are available at no charge to the hearing impaired.

My Biography

I have lived all my life on the Peninsula. I was raised in San Mateo. I attended San Jose State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. With my original goal of becoming a speech therapist, I was attracted to the field of Audiology. I liked the challenge of working with the hearing impaired and helping them achieve success with hearing aids. I also attended graduate school at SJSU where I earned my M.A. in Audiology.

I was in private practice for over twenty years before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2004. I worked with ENT surgeons in San Mateo and Burlingame providing diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing. With the evolution of digital hearing aid technology, I have specialized in hearing aid dispensing for many years.

I am proud to be a part of Kaiser Permanente because its goals coincide with my own professional ideals. I’m happy to give my time and energy to improve the quality and consistency of care for our patients at the Kaiser Hearing Center. Your hearing needs are as unique as you are.

When I’m not at work I keep busy with my husband and three daughters. With school-aged children we stay very active with sports, community, and church activities.

My Credentials

California State Licenses: Audiology; Hearing Aid Dispenser. Certificate of Clinical Competence: American Speech-Language-Hearing Assn Fellow: American Academy of Audiology Board Certified in Audiology: American Board of Audiology Member: California Academy of Audiology

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
