Welcome to my home page!

Optometry is a challenging and rewarding career where vision problems are addressed and resolved, or a referral to the next level of care is recommended. I began working at Kaiser Permanente in June of 2002, and have had the privilege of working with a great number of patients to improve their vision, fit contact lenses, and answer many vision related questions!

As far as the profession of optometry, I am a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Central California Optometric Society.

I graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor of science in Finance, and then received my commission as an officer in the United States Navy. I served on active duty for 7 years. Since then I have been a member of the Naval Reserve for 12 years. I received my doctor of optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA, and completed my residency training at the Center for the Partially Sighted in Los Angeles, CA.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
