I'm an Endocrinologist

This means that I diagnose diseases that affect your glands. These conditions are often complex and involve many systems and structures within your body. Diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis are some examples. Endocrinology is a very interesting and rewarding specialty - I love what I do!

My Practice Style

Our visit starts even before you arrive when your regular doctor identifies a problem with your endocrine system. I review your studies, and most importantly, I listen to you when we meet. My task is to pinpoint what is wrong, and then together with you and your regular doctor, develop an effective treatment.

More About Me

I grew up in this area and I worked for many years in the broadcasting and entertainement industry. In the course of my duties as a volunteer firefighter, I became interested in medicine and returned to school to become a doctor. When I'm not in the office, you can often find me running along the backroads of Yolo County.

My Credentials

Residency UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Fellowship UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine
Board certification Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, American Board of Internal Medicine

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
