My Practice Philosophy
About Me
I was born in Fontana, California and raised in San Jose, California. I attended San Jose State University studying nursing and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Biology. While attending SJSU, I was on the “Who’s Who Among College and University Students” list. I received my medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco. I served my residency here at Kaiser, Santa Clara, receiving the award for “Outstanding Medical Student Teaching”.
I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1997. I am currently a member of The American Medical Society, The California Medical Society and The Shufelt Society where I currently hold the position of Treasurer.
My Interests
I am married. My husband and I have a daughter. My hobbies include collecting and making wine, gourmet cooking, golfing, skiing, and gardening. My husband and I recently sold a restaurant that we had enjoyed owning and operating for 13 years.
I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, you may leave me a message at the above telephone number. Either, I, or my medical assistant, will return your call.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
