Welcome! I am very glad you've stopped by my website. Through this site I hope to share some information about myself, as well as to make you aware of practical information that can help us better provide quality and efficient care to you and your family.

Let me tell you a little about myself... I was born in southern California and raised in northern California. After attending college at Stanford University (I graduated in 1997 with undergraduate degrees in biological sciences and economics), I spent four years in the Bronx while attending medical school. It was a wonderful experience and not as scary as it may sound. I loved living in New York! But, I was glad to be closer to my family when I returned to Los Angeles in 2001 for my pediatric residency training.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004 following the completion of my residency. I enjoy being an active member of the Pediatric Department; I work in the clinic at the Sleepy Hollow Medical Offices as well as in the hospital (on the pediatric ward and in the nursery) at the Hayward Medical Center. In addition to English, I speak medical Spanish and some Vietnamese.

I look forward to getting to know you and your children!

Stay a while longer and take a look around... A sample of the information available to you on this site:

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
