More About Me

Biography

I am a Board Certified Internist and have been with our clinic for over 10 years. I attended Stanford University as an undergraduate and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with Honors. I attended Medical School at the University of California, Irvine and completed my Internal Medicine Residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. My area of interest is in primary care and preventive medicine.

I firmly believe that personalized care based on each individual’s needs and a strong physician–patient relationship is crucial for quality health care.

Currently I am a member of the California Medical Association and the Santa Clara County Medical Association. I have been actively involved in Quality Assurance at the Mountain View Facility.

I am conversational in Mandarin Chinese.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, swimming, ballroom dancing, and spending time with my family.

I look forward to meeting you. I encourage my patients to take an active role in their health care, and I will tailor the care to each individual’s background and needs.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
