Questions Commonly Asked About Your Visit

Question: How do I prepare for my upcoming appointment?
Answer: Please come prepared with your medication list that includes dosage and frequency, your blood sugar readings, blood pressure readings if applicable. If you have multiple concerns, please make a concise list and prioritize your concerns.

Question: What does fasting for a blood test mean? Should I fast before a physical?
Answer: Fasting for a blood test means having nothing except water for 12 hours before the test. I might order blood work that require fasting at your physical, so fasting is a good idea.

Question: Why do I have to wait to see my provider even though I have an apointment?
Answer: Our goal is to see each patient promptly. Sometimes patients are hard of hearing, require translation for a foreign language, or have unforseen issues that are complicated. These patients can take more time unexpectedly. We appreciate your patience. To help reduce wait time, please see "How do I prepare for my upcoming appointment" above. Also, please avoid walking in without an appointment.
