About Me

I have been a psychologist with the Department of Psychiatry in Santa Rosa since 1993. I received my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1978 and have been licensed in California since 1980. Since that time, I have also maintained a private practice in the county, specializing in psychotherapy, assessment, and as a court-appointed custody evaluator. At Kaiser, I specialize in treating adults suffering from anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship problems, and post-traumatic stress.

I am very pleased to be a part of an excellent team at Kaiser. In collaboration with my colleagues, we are able to provide a wide range of individual and group therapy resources, as well as referrals to numerous highly useful classes in our Health Education Department. I feel privileged to work in such a positive and health-oriented environment. I thoroughly enjoy and learn from my patients, and I value the relationships we develop that allow them to feel comfortable contacting me when the need arises over the years.

I have lived in Sonoma County since 1975. To balance out my work life, I enjoy road and mountain cycling, tennis, downhill skiing, yoga, and being with friends and family.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
