About Me

I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2000 and have worked in the Bay Area with adults and children with chronic and acute conditions. I started with Kaiser San Francisco in 2003 working in the Health Education Department, and transferred to Kaiser Oakland Genetics Department in 2007. I work in the various clinics within Genetics dividing my time between: Metabolic, Spina Bifida, Craniofacial, Skeletal Dysplasia, Lipid, and Neurofibromatosis clinic. My interests are in improving the health maintenance for those with genetic conditions that can be improved with nutritional guidance.

Kaiser offers a large variety of classes and specialties to help members maximize their health and well-being. Please take some time to review our many choices; our department alone offers a full spectrum of classes.

When I am away from the medical center, I like to knit and to travel. I exercise on a regular basis and consider myself to be a healthy eater. I look forward to welcoming you to our department.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
