NEWBORN CLUB
Newborn Club is a service provided for all new families in the Napa-Solano Service Area. The service includes examination of the newborn, assessment of the mother, and support of breastfeeding. Families may come back to Newborn Club for the first 30 days after birth for assistance with breastfeeding or if there are concerns about the newborn’s care, growth or health. All of our Registered Nurses and one of our Medical Assistants are certified lactation educators who can provide the support needed for women to successfully breastfeed. The Registered Nurses have extensive experience in examining newborns and have immediate access to a MD if any health concerns are discovered. We are pleased to provide this service to our new families, and we hope that it will enhance the experience of this very special event.
