My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am an Internist. This means that I specialize in Adult Medicine. I chose the discipline of Internal Medicine because it gives me the opportunity to provide comprehensive care and build long-term relationships with my patients.

My Practice Philosophy

I believe that listening closely to my patients and educating them on healthy lifestyle choices is the key to assisting them in obtaining maximum health and wellness.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2007. I am proud of Kaiser’s long history of providing high quality, evidence-based medicine. One of the great benefits of practicing medicine in Kaiser Permanente is that I can focus on my patients without having to worry about insurance authorization and paperwork. Also, I can always rely on the expertise and experience of my colleagues, who work together in the same integrated system.

Professional Interests & Affiliations

My medical interests include preventive care and gastroenterology.

  • 2003 Member of the American College of Physicians
  • 2005-8 American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award
  • 2005 UC Davis Active preceptor in Family Medicine Award
  • 2005 Certified Diplomate in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

On a Personal Note. . .

I was born and raised in Ukraine. After finishing medical school in Donetsk, I moved to the United States and completed my internship and residency in New Jersey. Besides English, I am also fluent in Ukranian and Russian. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling through North America.
