Welcome to My Home Page!

I remember when I first received my letter of acceptance to medical school. I was elated with the thought of being the best physician I could be. I wanted to give my patients the best medical care that I could give. I accepted the challenge. I studied hard through medical school constantly reminding myself that one must not cut corners.

I survived medical school but again was faced with yet the more daunting task of medical residency. That too was not a place for complacency. Hard work and diligence was not to be compromised. Learning to deliver personalized quality medical care was not to be ignored. As difficult as one can imagine medical residency may be, I found it was not so difficult when the rewards of caring for my patients are a mere smile in return.

I survived medical residency and embarked upon my long sought after career as a physician, the noble profession. I have worked in various capacity as a physician. I have been a visiting professor at the local osteopathic school, a teaching attending at a county medical center and local private medical center, a locum physician, and even in the private sector as part of a solo practice. It was when I received a call one day from my mentor from medical residency inviting me to join a team of Kaiser Permanente physicians, starting on a new project called “Hospital Based Specialists,” that I have found my place. I have been with this team since 1996 delivering hospital based care to our Kaiser Permanente patients in the hospital setting. Kaiser Permanente Medical Group and working in the hospital setting has been a natural fit for me. I will always enjoy the reward afforded me, your mere smile in return.

I am proud to be a part of The Permanente Medical Group, the Quality Leader in Health Care.
