Welcome to my Home Page!

As a team of Hospitalists, we run a 24/7 service and we see patients who show up in the Emergency Room requiring admission. Sometimes when necessary, we also admit directly from the clinic when your primary care doctor requests our help to admit and treat you in the Hospital.

About Me

My name is Yin Yin Aye, I am one of the hospitalists that will be taking care of you while you are staying at the Manteca or Modesto Medical Centers. Since I was young, taking care of people who are sick has always been my passion and when I grew older, I decided to become a doctor. I received my medical degree from University of Yangon Institute of Medicine at Yangon, Myanmar. I completed my residency in internal medicine at Wright State University, Dayton, OH. I joined Kaiser Permanente because it is one of the largest health care organizations in California. I decided to relocate to Central Valley because I want to live close to my family members.

My medical interests include obesity and the health impact on senior citizens and also diabetes and its complications.

I love to work in a place where there is a large cultural diversity; I am able to meet people from different regions of the world. Providing the best possible care to my patients has always been my passion and I will treat my patients as I would like myself and my family members be treated. I believe medicine is a combination of science and art. Having good communication between physician and patient is a key in treating them effectively. I strive to give my patient unrivaled attention while they are under my care.

Family and Friends

I was born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar. I have five siblings and they all live in different parts of the world. I am the second oldest in the family.

Apart from English, I can also speak Mandarin and Yunan, Chinese and also Burmese.

Hobbies and Interests

When I am not working, I enjoy swimming, reading and watching movies (drama).

What I’m reading and browsing?

My reading interests are usually academic – New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Circulation (a scientific journal published for the American Heart Association.)

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
