My Biography

I am a third generation native San Franciscan who grew up in the San Francisco public school systems. I received my Bachelors in Physiology from U.C. Berkeley and my Bachelor and Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry.

My experience is of working for a private ophthalmologist and school vision screenings prior to working full-time at Kaiser Permanente.

When away from practicing Optometry, my wife and I enjoy our extensive array of travels, shopping, and eating adventures. I also have special interests in photography, music, and spending time socializing and planning get togethers with friends and family.

Undergraduate Education: University of California, Berkeley, CA
Medical School and Graduate School: Southern California College of Optometry, Fullerton, CA
Began Practice: 1986
Joined Kaiser Permanente: 1991

Our goal at Kaiser Permanente is to be your health plan of choice and deliver the quality medical care our members deserve. Thank you again for choosing Kaiser Permanente.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
