Welcome

As a team of Hospitalists, we run a 24/7 service and we see the patients who show up in the Emergency Room requiring admission. Sometimes when necessary, we also admit directly from the clinic when your primary care doctor requests our help to admit and treat you in the Hospital.

About Me

My name is Win Pa Pa Myo and I will be taking care of you while you are staying either at the Manteca or Modesto Medical Centers. When I was young, I saw my father suffered from severe pain from his cancer and I told myself that I wanted to help people in their pain and suffering. I want to share their feelings and frustration and decided to become a physician. I received my medical degree from Institute of Medicine (1) at Yangon, Myanmar. Then I completed my internship and residency in internal medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY.

I joined Kaiser Permanente because it is a well established organization with multi-disciplinary specialty group, well trained support staff, and advanced technology to provide the highest possible quality of patient care. As a hospitalist, I work together with other specialists to provide the best care for my patients. Hospital based practice presents the opportunity to treat multiple medical problems. It is rewarding and personal gratification to help a patient gets well.

After completing of my residency, I came to the Central Valley because I like the warm weather, fresh fruits and vegetables.

My medical interests include diabetes, oncology, gastroenterology and palliative care.

Family and Friends

I was born and raised in Myanmar. I am a Chinese-Burmese. I am married and enjoying spending time with my husband. Apart from English, I can also speak Burmese.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy traveling around the world, gardening and reading.

What I’m reading and browsing?

My reading interests are usually academic – New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American College of physician, Cardiology, and Circulation (a scientific journal published for the American Heart Association.)
